Title: A SERIOUS MAN (2009)
Post by: RCMerchant on June 02, 2012, 04:17:09 PM
The plot-well-a  high school teacher has his wife want a divorce, his  brother is slepping in the front room, his son can't find F-Troop on the TV,and he's losing his marbles-and he trys to talk to the Rabbis-who are crazier than him. BUT-Grace Slick knows the answer. Are you following me here? Did I mention the tornado? Or the pulsating brain? Or the hot pot smoking chick? And that its all set in 1967?
OK-just watch it-it's damn good.

Yep. This was probably my favorite movie of 2009.

The dybbuk---the goy's teeth---and "The parking lot, Larry... Just look at that parking lot. "

That ending.....good god that ending.......
My favorite Coen Bros. movie after BIG LEBOWSKI and RAISING ARIZONA.  Michael Stuhlbarg shoud've at least been nominated for an Oscar that year.
