Some really bad ones further down the list but which I still enjoy on a personal level including Maximum Overdrive, The Wraith and King Kong Lives. Whatever the case, a really fun and action filled year for Horror fans.
Title: Re: Box Office Horror Flashback: 1986 Post by: retrorussell on June 20, 2012, 11:25:17 PM Didn't see many of these in the theater. I waited a year before seeing many of these, when I moved to Auburn, WA and we had a VCR and rented tons of flicks.
I saw The Fly at the theater. Pretty good flick. I saw Little Shop of Horrors at the Valley Theater in Beaverton, OR. Fun movie, even if you don't like musicals (like me). Maximum Overdrive I saw at a Seattle area drive in. Bad, and IMO seldom in a good way. Friday the 13th part VI was the best in the series. And Maximum Overdrive is the winner for most entertaining b movie.
