Title: BBC's Geoffrey Hughes Passes Post by: tracy on July 31, 2012, 12:56:16 PM Best known to American audiences as the loveable but lazy Onslow on the Britcom "Keeping Up Appearances",Geoffrey Hughes has died from prostate cancer at age 68. He was in a number of other programs including the very popular "Coronation Street".

Geoffrey Hughes. Onslow often stole the show on "Keeping Up Appearances" whenever he appears and was a great foil of sorts for Hyacinth. Never knew he was on "Coronation Street" too which has become a guilty pleasure favourite of mine these days.
