Based on a 200 hour (yes, no typo: 200 hour :buggedout:) radio serial, this is a wholly Afrikaans language film concerning the loves and lives of a rich wine making family in the Cape, their tormented father figure who was forced to choose between the love of his life (a woman who meant everything to him) and the family business and remains tortured for many years thereafter, until a young man from Johannesburg pitches up at the farm looking for work. The young man's mom's name is Sonja ~ the same name as the patriarch's long lost love........ :smile: |
