There was some video game I vaguely remembered hearing about a while ago.  Couldn't remember what the name of it was, thought it might have had the word "gothic" in the title, but this wasn't the game I was looking for.

Responding to FasCatFreddy's post made me wonder whatever happened to Mark Borchardt.

Apparently this:

"I asked the maid in dulcet tone
To order me a buttered scone
The silly girl has been and gone
And ordered me a buttered scone."

Doing some reading up on various "forgotten" Black Sabbath albums (i.e. the ones without Dio or Ozzy singing on them), including this one:

A list of Batman Family Enemies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Batman_Family_enemies)

I love Batman's rogues gallery; even some of the stupid ones like Crazy Quilt and Quiz Master.  :teddyr:

I'm doing something foolish by listening to an audiobook about fonts, so I have to stop and look up examples of what they are discussing.

Oddly enough, it was this earlier today.  I used to watch this guy's cooking show when I was around 6 - 7 years old.  Somehow, we got to talking about him at work and I wondered if he was still alive.

The Xerox Alto/Star computers.

On a related note, Apple won their lawsuit against Samsung.   :hatred:  (I'm not a Samsung fan, and I'm using an Apple computer.  Still, this seems wrong.  If you look up Xerox Alto/Star you will know why.)

Wow, the courts rule against microsoft to stop them from becoming a monopoly, and rule for apple and essentially help them become a monopoly.
