Title: KILLERS ON WHEELS (1976)

A Hong Kong biker film?  Yup.

For about the first hour of this movie, the title should have been "Mischievous Dirt Bikers on Wheels."  It's about a group of people at a beach house on an island off the coast of Hong Kong who get terrorized by a biker gang.  The gang zips around on noisy Yamahas, and one of the gang members has "Castrol" printed on his helmet.  There isn't one guy in the gang who would intimidate me.  They all look like they'd go home crying if you gave them a good slap across the face.

After a long time, one of the gang members kills a woman by pushing her face into shards of broken glass.  So, one of the good guys grabs a crowbar, hops on a motorcycle, and rides into the biker's camp where he whacks a few of the bad guys with the crowbar.  The violence really doesn't heat up until the climax: an attack on the beach house, which borrows heavily from STRAW DOGS and LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT.

I can't recommend this Shaw Brothers production because it's mostly pretty silly . . . but then again, you might get a few laughs out of it.
