I hope this means that SyFY is getting back to some space based programming,

I know I'm late to the game on this thread, but, well, here I am.

I used to enjoy the original series, and I loved how they ended it. No spoilers here, I promise.

My all time favorite thing about the series was what they said when being transported to the planet of the week by the trans-mat (transmission of matter device). Instead of the Star Trek standard of "Beam us down," their crew would say, "Put us down." As this has double meaning (technically, triple if you count their intended meaning), I would respond, to myself in an empty living room, with either "You're all ugly, and Blake is fat." or simulated gun shots (this from "we put the moose (or creature of your choice) down," meaning they put it out of its misery or to be blunt, killed it.).

Yeah, that explanation just killed what little humor there was in that. Oh well...

I'll be interested in seeing what they do with that show.  Hopefully for more than one episode   :teddyr:  Always loved the spaceship in the original series.
