I am looking for a movie title for a film that would have been made in the 70`s or 80`s.
The scene I am thinking of was of a man(boy?) who was stabbed in the stomach by some gang members in an alley or industrial type area. I think the man was Caucasian wearing a white T-shirt, and the gang guys were Latinos  It was set in possibly los Angeles .  The man who was stabbed tried to get help as he wandered down the alleys. His suffering and trying to find help was the basis for the movie( I think) as this went on for a very long time. As I recall it was possibly a mugging and the man did not really instigate the attack.

That's not a lot to go on I am sure. I have thought about this often and I remember brief moments of this quite vividly. I saw this on television in the mid to late 80`s.  I suppose it is possible that it was part of a crime type TV show like Colombo but I don't think so as the stabbing part was much to graphic for a TV show of that time. I appreciate any help I can get.

I can try to clarify some things if need be,but I am afraid I won't recall much else.
