Title: British short film about a man losing his mind in suburbia & an expanding attic Post by: spellingmistakes on October 09, 2012, 07:28:16 PM I saw this sometime between 2002-2006 it was on British TV, and I think it was on BBC2.
I only saw the second half but basically this guy has locked himself in his suburban house and doesn't go outside at all, for food he makes traps for the neighbours cats and eats them. He makes video diaries and I think that's how the entire story is told. He's convinced that his attic is expanding, and he goes up there on expeditions to measure it, tying himself to the bannister downstairs so he doesn't get sucked in. It's clear that he's lost his mind but there's a part of it where you're not too sure. He believes he was made some kind of vital discovery. It was great and I'd love to see the whole thing but every attempt I've made to find out what it's called has been useless. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks Darren |
