Title: Color Images of Nazi Occupied Poland Post by: ER on October 24, 2012, 09:55:47 AM Amazing shots. In themselves they show nothing particularly lurid, but given the greater context of their setting, they're a poignant record of a tragedy. In color World War Two seems all the more immediate. Though I don't know how many suspected it then, I'm sure almost all of these people were near the end of their lives.

It's a little unsettling when you see some of them, and thinking about the horror of the time period.
