Title: Searching for a horror/thriller movie with a very scary spirit of a man who... Post by: HorrorOfAmy on November 09, 2012, 05:57:53 AM Hi!
I'm at my wits' end trying to remember the title of a horror movie I saw long ago... It was about 8 years ago, when I was 12 years old. I remember quite a lot of it but just can't find any mentions about the whole movie anywhere... The movie starts with a young woman living with her old mother/aunt somewhere in a farm. She is like a slave to the old woman... Always waking her up in the middle of the night to bring her a glass of water etc. She wakes her up by clanking her wooden walking stick against some pipes on the wall. The young woman is very tired of this. Then I remember she moves to live into an old mansion. I can't remember the reason. I guess she went there to clean or something. Anyway some bad things start to happen there. I think she saw ghosts of children wandering there and heard odd noises... but what made me really scared of the movie was a very big evil spirit of an old man who chased after the young woman and apparently the children were also scared of him. I remember she started to investigate the history of the place and she finds out that the ghost of a man was actually the father of those children and he had murdered them all... There were about 12 ghosts of children if I remember correctly. I remember there was a creepy spinning room with creepy carousel music at one part. Then in the end I remember the woman died and turned into a ghost but she stayed with the children to protect them from their evil father. It was not an old film. It had colors etc. I'd really love to see it again... I hope someone recognizes the movie and could tell me it's name. :) Thank you already! Post by: HorrorOfAmy on November 09, 2012, 06:34:24 AM Also, I remember the young woman had quite long dark-brown hair and I think her name was Annie or Elizabeth or something old-fashioned like that. The evil man had a bald spot at the top of his head and some grayish hair at both sides of his head. There was also a painting of him in the movie. A very big dark-colored painting and he had a very cruel expression...
