This is legalized sexism. Those who voted in favor of this should be ashamed of themselves.

The guy's a jerk but as far as I can tell the ISC's decision is 100% legally correct. Iowa state law bars discrimination on the basis of gender; she wasn't fired because she was a woman but because he was attracted to her. Her predecessor and successor were both women, and in fact he hired only female dental assistants. Essentially, he couldn't work with her because of a personality conflict; the fact that he's 100% in the wrong morally has no legal bearing. There is no special legal protection for people who are "too attractive," because unlike blacks, women, gays, etc. they have not been historically discriminated against.

Either this guy gets his act together or hire guys, as I see this as a very dumb thing to do.
