Title: Triple Bad Movie Battle: Rogue VS Black Water VS Primeval (all 2007)
Post by: Kaseykockroach on January 26, 2013, 01:54:21 AM
Okay, whether or not any of these deserve the "Bad movie" label is not the question at hand. But I haven't seen any of these three films, and have become increasingly curious (Black Water particularly), hence this poll.
And why 2007 was apparently the year of the crocodile is anyone's guess.

Black Water is actually my favorite of these three. Rogue comes in second, and Primeval third.

I'm going to vote for Rogue.   I haven't seen Black Water yet.  And wasn't too impressed by Primeval.  Actually, a documentary I saw about the same time (which actually showed the real Gustave) was a lot more interesting.

There's one vote for "They're all good". That was me, I love crocodiles too much :teddyr:. I enjoyed Primeval a little more than the others but still, crocodiles!

I made it about 20 minutes into Black Water and have been meaning to finish it up one of these days.  Hopefully before Netflix takes it out of rotation.  I dunno, I guess that's not exactly a great recommendation

I haven't seen Rogue and I've only seen about twenty minutes of Black WaterPrimeval, however, I have seen and it was ... thoroughly unremarkable.  The amazingly s**tty CGI for the killer croc was amusing a couple of times, but everything else was just competent enough to be very, very dull.  I seem to be in the minority, there, because most other reviews I've seen of it either speak of it glowingly or with utter hatred.
