Title: Mecha-Blog-Zilla's latest review: "If You Could See What I Hear"
Post by: TheDope on January 30, 2013, 12:53:52 AM
Question: What's the best thing I can say about this biopic of blind-yet-upbeat individual Tom Sullivan?

Answer: at least he didn't have to watch this movie.

...I'll show myself out. (http://www.thegreatwhitedope.com/2013/01/if-you-could-see-what-i-hear-1982.html)

I rather enjoyed this film but I have to agree that it went over the top at times. It was trying so hard to make him look like he almost didn't realize that he was blind. Luckily Marc Singer had a pretty likeable screen personality. I saw Tom Sullivan on a M*A*S*H episode and he was funny without going overboard.
