Title: Teal and Orange
Post by: ulthar on February 20, 2013, 01:05:49 PM
Cool blog post about the fact that stories are not the only thing that has become retread and formulaic in Hollywood.

Movies are a visual medium...so, why not make them all LOOK the same, too?

Yeah color correction is here to stay and it is a shame when it is used in such a boring way. The color correction in JVCD really stuck out like a sore thumb for me and made the whole movie look terrible.

No, no.  It's not color correction's fault.

Some Hollywood big-wig found a warehouse full of CineColor film, and they're trying to pass it off as Technicolor.  Now that Kodachrome is gone, said big-wig is getting lots of business.
