Title: Change Post by: Allhallowsday on February 24, 2013, 09:55:13 PM Photobucket changed. After refusing the new version at least twice, I accidentally clicked on what they wanted you to click on and zing you cannot go back. All "help" pages are long, helpless, and... long. All I did there was upload pix, tag 'em, sweat thru the ads, and done. Now?
I could use a new photo host, any suggestions? That all being said, this thread is about change and your response to it. I've had a lot of change in my life; change is life. But I did live in 7 homes I remember (there were at least 2 i don't) before graduating high school, and 6 schools, with another school in between a break... Yahoo has changed, and dopey as it always was, it's even dopier and unattractive. I am so grateful to come to Badmovies. Things have changed here, too, but it's still home. Title: Re: Change Post by: Trevor on February 25, 2013, 02:49:32 AM I am so grateful to come to Badmovies. I have never changed my undies, though..... :buggedout:  Title: Re: Change Post by: Bushma on February 25, 2013, 08:38:53 AM I am so grateful to come to Badmovies. Title: Re: Change Post by: Newt on February 25, 2013, 09:14:56 AM Sorry I cannot suggest a new photo host, AHD. I have found the 'new' photobucket to be vexing as well.
Cannot say I have ever been a big fan of change. BMDO has managed to roll with changes and yet remain a sanctuary of sorts. I'm sure we all appreciate that! Title: Re: Change Post by: bob on February 25, 2013, 10:02:08 AM I too am dreading when photobucket automatically forces the changes on those of us who don't want to use it.
As for a new photohosting site, imageshack is ok. There's no limit for stuff and free to join. Title: Re: Change Post by: tracy on February 25, 2013, 01:55:43 PM I gave up on Photobucket a while back. And I've never found another hosting site that is as easy as Photobucket used to be.
Title: Re: Change Post by: alandhopewell on February 25, 2013, 02:22:19 PM Yahoo switched me over to their "new and improved" version without asking me, and I can't go back. Photobucket keeps trying to get me to change, but I'm going to stand my ground.
REALLY strange-AOL won't let me join. Odd....I never told AOL anything about you. :teddyr: Title: Re: Change Post by: Ash on February 25, 2013, 03:00:52 PM I've been using Imageshack for years and it's great.
Membership is free and you're only allowed so many hundred images (5 GB) before you reach the limit. If you want more then you have to get a premium membership. www.imageshack.us Title: Re: Change Post by: indianasmith on February 25, 2013, 06:56:40 PM The last four years or so have given me a visceral dislike of that word.
Title: Re: Change Post by: Doc Daneeka on February 26, 2013, 02:41:27 PM I dunno if they offer subscription, as I've never tried, but... Tinypic?

Unless it comes from a cash register. :wink:Title: Re: Change Post by: bob on March 04, 2013, 11:38:43 AM I made the switch to the new version of photobucket and it's actually not that bad. I still think the old one was easier to navigate but this ones working fine for me.
