Post by: Torgo on March 18, 2013, 04:51:28 PM I've actually had the Elm Street blu-ray collection for a while now as it's been a Best Buy exclusive for a few months now. The first movie looks amazing as they did a completely brand new HD transfer for it. The sequels look marginally better than their DVD counterparts for the most part but it depends on what scene and the such. I honestly think that for the sequels they just used the existing ancient HD masters that were done for the old massive DVD box set from years ago. But it's still a great deal and the case is so slim too. The first movie gets its own disc but the sequels are two movies on each subsequent disc.
