Crushed and buried under concrete.  Sounds like what they did with all the copies of the Star Wars Holiday Special.

I've been reading about that.  Don't know what they think they'll find - a whole pile of ET cartridges that have been buried in a landfill for 30 years?  I can hardly control my excitement  :bouncegiggle: As far as "Prototypes of Atari’s Mindlink controller system", uh yeah...good luck with that.  On the .0001% chance that they're actually there, I'm sure getting run over by a bulldozer has reduced them to unidentifiable scraps of plastic.

I wish they did that with all the copies of the Holiday Special.  Unfortunately some copies have survived.
