I like your list a lot. I think GYMKATA belongs in that bunch. I might take off WARRIOR OF THE LOST WORLD to make room.

You couldn't be more right. Gymkata > WOTLW. It's amazing what a difference drinking with friends can have on a movie. :P

I'll check out this Mad Foxes.

Mad Foxes is great!  So much back and forth revenge in that movie.  Almost as much as there is male genitalia (but not quite)!  It's a crazy little flick...

Nice list by the way...

Thanks guys. Mad Foxes looks Fantastic! I've already ordered a copy.

Lady Street Fighter on the other hand, is technically from 1975, and I bet it's a bit slow for my tastes (mtv generation ;p). But, I'd still love to check it out. Unfortunately I can't find so much as a TRAILER for the damn thing. Got any links?

KEEP THESE RECOMMENDATION COMING! : D

Good list, a few in there I need to watch. glad you put Samurai Cop in there. Still haven't checked Hard Ticket To Hawaii, need to see that and other Andy Sidaris 80s movies

Might add 'Welcome To Spring Break'...depends where Action/Adventure stops and horror begins, I think it would fit... also Godfrey Ho's Ultimate Ninja

Thanks to lester 1/2 I might include 'They Call Me Macho Woman'!

I've actually meant 1985 Lady Street Fighter, from Director James Bryan who gave us Don't Go in the Woods. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0395630/reference

Yep, I understood. That movie was released in 1985, but it was filmed in 1975 and stick in a corner for 10 years. I'm pretty hesitant to pick up anything filmed in the era because of how slow the editors/directors paced things. I've looked everywhere for a Lady Street Fighter trailer, and can't find one anywhere. Let me know if you have a lead on one.

I do like James Bryan's Hell Riders!

Cheers! : D

Hard Ticket To Hawaii is one of a kind. Sidaris was feeling good about the success of his first movie, and went all out CAMPY on Hard Ticket, but for some reason returned to more standard scripts after that. None of his other movies compare, in my opinion. Don't waste your time.

I will for sure add Spring Break and Ultimate Ninja to my list (Godfrey Ho 4 life)

They Call Me Macho Woman (aka Savage Instinct) is already on my list. Cannot wait to watch that!

PS. I don't mind some horror, but It's harder for me to find ones I like.
Uninvited, Troll 2, Silent Night Deadly Night 2, and Ghoulies are some of my favorites.

Thanks Jack.

I've put off Megaforce for a while now. The clip where the guy flies into the back of the plane, just hurt my brain so much. But, I think I'm ready now.

Rotor? Do you hate me? I wouldn't recommend that my enemies watch that. haha
Seriously though. I didn't find that movie funny. Painful would be a better word. To each their own.

Aaaah ok, I didn't know it was shot in 1975. I just read the Trivia blurb on IMDb. I always assumed it was a 1970s "Foxy Brown" kind of homage made in the 80s rofl. Either way, Lady Street Fighter is not slow, its actually action-packed and moves with a tight pace. There are even speeded-up car chases  :teddyr:
There used to be tons of Lady Street Fighter footage on youtube but for some reason not anymore. If I find anything I'll post it here.

Confusing in a way, the intentionally funny parts are pretty lame, whereas the serious parts are quite laughable in how they make you sit up & say WTF.

While not good enough to knock any off your list, you might also try Kill or be Killed and it's sequel (or is.it.the.other.way around?) Kill and Kill Again.

Funny you mention it. I just watched Kill and Kill again for the first time, today.
Wasn't expecting it to be PG! Couldn't get into it. But thank you for the recommendation. Got any others, just let me know.

Two South African movies there: Kill Or Be Killed (aka Karate Olympia has moments of comedy but is otherwise serious but its' sequel Kill and Kill Again is supposed to be an action comedy. The director of both of these, Ivan Hall, was a good friend of mine.

Surprised you haven't put Undefeatable on the list, another Godfrey Ho movie with pretty much the same cast as Honour and Glory but in my opinion more enjoyable.

Some recommendations:
Strike Commando - Action packed Rambo 2 ripoff with plenty of unintentional humour
Rambu: The Intruder - Fun Indonesian action movie

For horror
Elves - Features a chain smoking security guard played by Grizzly Adams and Nazi Elves

THE NINJA STRIKES BACK is a favorite of mine from that era. They throw just about every exploitation theme on the screen, and the music is perfect (though it's all stolen from other sources). :teddyr: And it has some really great WTF moments. Oh, and the dubbing. The Asian actors sound like they were dubbed by some college students from Vermont.

Laser Mission was almost on this list. I like it too. But, Behind enemy lines, I've never heard of. I'll be sure to check it out.

Also, I'll check out Bulletproof (Mcbain), but I haven't had much luck with Busey, as weird as he is.

Thanks Trevor!

I noticed BULLETPROOF is on THIS TV this Wednesday July 17 at 10 pm est.
I'm pretty sure all that's cut is one short nude scene. Not one of my favorites, but it has it's moments. It just doesn't have enough of Gary Busey.

I think any ONE of those likely yields a BAD MOVIE.  Those of us around awhile have perhaps tacitly agreed that we often don't agree about what constitutes a BAD MOVIE.  We couldn't even agree on what makes a "B" Movie (many  often are clueless as to the old concept of what used to be called the "A" picture and the "B" picture).

A movie can be well made, well acted, brilliantly scripted, yet, still tasteless and offensive.  Just plain BAD.  Think great funny/disgusting movies like THE TOXIC AVENGER (1984).

BAD for so many reasons:
SLEEPAWAY CAMP (1983)

Here's my "dumb film" review:

I had seen the thread and read it.  Your remarks into it a bit regarding BAD MOVIES were motivating.  No great example of tastelessly BAD and freakin' awesomely watchable Action/Adventure came to mind.
How 'bout MOM AND DAD SAVE THE WORLD (1992)...?  Naaah.

I still think Fulci's The Beyond (1981) works great as a genuine horror movie AND a bad movie. Both factors are mixed together to perfection.

Can't remember, but has Krull been mentioned?  Gotta love that one!

Also, even though I know you kinda mentioned not being able to get into the Busey, Eye of the Tiger is a pretty fun one.  Busey is a war vet who soups up his truck to take revenge on a gang that (if memory serves) attacks and possibly murders his family...

Lastly, even though this is probably a bit too well known of a choice, you cannot go wrong with a visit to Road House.  Deadly Prey had Danton, but Road House was only one letter away with Dalton...

I remember Cage (1989) starring Lou Ferrigno who stars as a Vietnam War veteran named Billy who is shot in the head in battle and comes home from the war mentally retarded. I forget the plot points, but he somehow ends up fighting in cage matches (hence the movie title) and destroys people with his wrath and powerful strength when p**sed off, but if he's not p**sed off then he is a big ol' lovable teddy bear that you would trust your own little children to play games with.

The entire premise of the movie, I found to be extremely hilarious, especially the fight scenes where he goes from Teddy Ruxpin to rabid grizzly bear if someone punches the old war wound in his head! The first fight is the funniest, where Billy walks up to his mean opponent in the ring and happily introduces himself with an open handshake, "Hi, I'm Billy!" before he gets clobbered by his opponent and replies "Hey, why'd you do that?" The pummeling continues until you almost expect Lou Ferrigno to turn green before he inevitably mops the ring mat with his opponent's broken body.  :bouncegiggle:

Apparently, Cage was so good that it spawned a sequel in 1994, but I never saw that one.  :teddyr:

My personal favorite Top 15:

01. Caged Fury (1989) - Martial arts & WIP movie with a twist.
02. Virgins from Hell (1987) - Wild & crazy female action flick.
03. Lady Street Fighter (1985) - Just an overall amazing movie.
04. Jungle Virgin Force (1988) - This will make your head spin.
05. No Dead Heroes (1986) - Rambo-esque jungle action. I couldn't stop laughing.
06. Sudden Thunder (1990) - Vengeance-Action w/ female Miami cop undercover in Redneck county.
07. The Black Cobra 3 (1990) - "Shaft" in the Philippines. Easily the "best" of the series.
08. Legion of Iron (1990) - Modern Gladiator-Cage-Fighting in the desert.
09. Kill Crazy (1990) - Survival-Action: Vietnam vets from a mental hospital vs. bad guys in the desert.
10. Rolf (1984) - Over-the-top Rambo-esque village action.
11. Heat Street (1987) - Boxer battles street gangs with urban setting.
12. Chickboxer (1992) - Chubby teenage girl tries her hand at martial arts.
13. Pit Fighter (2005) - "Machete" type of Mexican crime/underground fighting.
14. No Retreat, No Surrender 3: Blood Brothers (1990) - Violent crime vs. kick-boxing cheese.
15. Delta Force Commando (1988) - Sweaty & beefy revenge-action.

The pummeling continues until you almost expect Lou Ferrigno to turn green before he inevitably mops the ring mat with his opponent's broken body.  :bouncegiggle:

Apparently, Cage was so good that it spawned a sequel in 1994, but I never saw that one.  :teddyr:

Cage is quite the gem and Lou's first big screen attempt at being recognized as a "serious actor". Of course it totally backfired  :bouncegiggle:
I think Lou Ferrigno's Filmography is interesting. Because of his Hulk reputation he should've been a bigger action movie hero star in the 80s. Instead he choose vanity projects showing off his physical assets rather than his acting abilities. Those glorifying Italian Hercules, Gladiator and Sinbad movies did nothing for him except for making him the laughing stock of bad movies. Had Lou been a bit more ambitious and serious about his movie career he should've started at zero playing the exact opposite of his Hulk stigma - as in the defeatable anti-hero or bad guy, and work his way up from there. His pseudo versatile image didn't come over well, though he did a decent job in the Matt Houston episode "Blood Ties" playing a serial killer.
Lots of missed opportunities and wrong (lazy?) career choices, that's why you won't ever see Lou in any Expendables movies

I would love to see Lou Ferrigno in one of the Expendables movies, even as a bad guy like the marvelously bad Vilain role played by Jean Claude Van Damme. It's weird, but Lou Ferrigno is starting to look like a shorter, more articulate version of Andre the Giant these days!  :bouncegiggle:

SHOWDOWN IN LITTLE TOKYO, starring Dolph Lundgren and Brandon Lee, is a personal favorite.

I recommend the Schwarzenegger film Raw Deal (1985). Okay, it's not a bad film by any means, it has alot of cheesy entertaining action in it. I got it as part of a boxset with Red Heat and Total Recall.
