Very sad that yet another martial arts great has passed away, only within days of Jim Kelly's passing.  And even more unfortunately, it appears that Gordon Liu (the eternal Shaolin monk) is also critically ill.

At least Lau Kar Leung passed away in hospital with family by his side.   :bluesad:

Oh man...I remmeber seeing this guy in a lot of old Shaw movies.  But to also hear that Gordon Liu is also sick is truly sad. The Shaw Brothers movies were always very entertaining and fun to watch.  The outrageous fights, the masterful weapons displays, and the period set pieces and the crazy costumes some of the actors had were one time deal.  I often think that while the Shaw brothers were part of the golden era of martial arts movies, they also WERE the golden era.
