Title: Strays
Post by: crackers on July 08, 2013, 08:44:56 AM
So there I was looking trough DVDs at my favourite exchange shop and I come across Strays staring Vin Diesel. The cover looks really low budget and is only 50p, so I turn it over to discover that Vin not only stars in it, but wrote directed and produced this flick. At 50p I had to buy it. So I watched it last night and it is soooo bad, but very entertaining. HUGE plot holes, very confusing at times and very strange casting. Well worth a watch. Mike Epps is it's only saving grace.

I was hoping this was a thread about the killer cat movie.

I remember renting that movie years ago from a VHS store.  Possibly Timothy Busfield's finest performance . . .

Sorry to disappoint.

Burgo, you say that as if he had...talent. His only 2 skills were whining and occasionally bugging his eyes out (when he was "acting" scared, hurt, upset, indignant, queasy, making a joke, talking, walking across the room...basically, anything). He was a likeable enough sort, but not much on acting. God knows, I watched him through "Thirtysomething" AND "Strays". I even managed to catch him in "Trucks". He's a better director than actor.

But, yeah, "Strays", the one with cats, is a hoot.

Hopefully, my sarcasm came through loud and clear.  Actually, the only Timothy Busfield performance I enjoy is the one in REVENGE OF THE NERDS.
