Four friends documenting their first camping trip encounter scary stuff in the great outdoors. This isn't your average cheap found footage cash in. But I'm not saying this is the pinnacle of found footage horror either. If anything, Evidence proves that it doesn't take much to fool the audience in believing what they are expecting until they get slapped with awesome unexpected carnage. Sure, there's this whole Blair Witch style set up and at a certain point you think to know what will happen next, but the makers of this movie are always one step ahead.
What really sets this movie from other recent found footage flicks apart is its steady rise of tension. Of course the breathless final 20 minutes adds to the excitement, and once the end credits roll your jaw will finally snap shut  :teddyr:

This has been available on DVD/Blu-ray in Europe for some time, still no release date in the States as of now.

I like found footage films, as a rule.  I'll check this one out!
