Title: Keep An Eye Out for this one . . . Post by: indianasmith on July 13, 2013, 10:09:37 PM There is a horror movie coming out this fall (it's premiering in a theater in Dallas, then will be released straight to video, I believe) entitled JEBADIAH'S AXE. http://stonebellcreations.com/jebadiahsaxe/ Why do I care? This movie was shot about 15 miles from my house, right at one of my favorite arrowhead-hunting spots near Lake Tawakoni in NE Texas. I actually know the property owner who is one of the film's investors. The movie looks like a fairly typical low budget zombie slasher ("with lots of blood and boobs" was how the investor described it to me), but even in some of the production stills on their FaceBook page I recognized the background. I am very stoked for this one, if only because it was made right in my back yard (geographically speaking, my yard is NOT fifteen miles deep). Title: Re: Keep An Eye Out for this one . . . "Jebadiah still hates trespassers." If the film can live up (or down, depending on your point of view) to the short little write up, I'd buy a copy in a heartbeat. |
