After spending Christmas in New York little cam-gurl Trish and her big sister are taking a flight back to L.A. on New Years Eve. Act 1: boarding annoyance. Trish is sticking her cam in every passengers face and says in a high pitched voice "cool" many times. Act 2: da crash. It lasts about 15 seconds, preceded by collective screaming. Act 3: survival. Bickering, moaning, blood, tears + unknown (Raptor) animal attack. Act 4: running for shelter: "hello? hello?" Trish finds a phone and thinks she connected without dialing. Act 5: quality time. How to comfort/distract your bleeding annoying little sister while being chased by Dinosaurs? "Trish, look at the stars and tell me what they taught you in school about it". Act 6: happy ending? I won't spoil but yeah, whatever. Found footage horror with very little horror. Cliche characters (Trish, big sister with big boobs, helpful stewardess, fat and mean passenger, the friendly reporter, female air marshall with Brit accent), stiff acting, one corny CGI shot. Sounds good. I see the film is produced by what seems to be a long lost relative of Dino de Laurentiis. |
