I think we've spoken Lean before, and I said that I enjoy his earlier, smaller works more than his later epics. I still hold that opinion. Title: Re: GREAT EXPECTATIONS (1946) on TCM right now !!! Look for Alec Guiness in his first credited movie role. Also the motion picture debut of English actor Howard Lang.
