I've been on the hunt for a movie I saw on Youtube ages ago. It's not Strange Days, Dark City, Blade Runner, et al. But it has a similar feel - though I'm not sure it's necessarily cyberpunk. I'm fairly certain it was a b movie, POSSIBLY an episode of some show, but I think the effects were too cool for a tv show. Based on the CGI, it seemed like it was from the late 80s, maybe early 90s? The part I remember had a woman being chased and eventually murdered by a killer - then, come to find out, we are watching a "movie" through the eyes of a cop/detective who has the ability to see this 'memory' though it's somehow implied that HE is possibly the killer! It's called Recon, and it stars Peter Gabriel. It was a student film, hence the ~10 min length. Look up qvXewZ_Ocws on Youtube. Enjoy! |
