Seriously?

What a loss...a guy who wrote all-too-real military novels with a great slant for hypothetical and alternate historical universe scenarios, what a gifted writer.   Ubisoft immortalized is characters in the Rainbow 6, Splinter Cell and Ghost recon game series, and did it well.

Rest in peace, Mr. Clancy, our Warriors and Heroes who went before you are icing up a cold one for you and are ready to salute you upon your arrival.  Go easy, bro, your tour of duty is over.  Mission accomplished.

Mission accomplished indeed.  The world has lost a fine writer and an American patriot. Somewhere, Jack Ryan is wearing black.

That's really too bad.  I've read most of his books, think I read the Cardinal of the Kremlin twice.

RIP Mr. Clancy, you were taken too early.

Patriot Games is still my favourite film adaptation of one of his books.

In that book, the people that Jack Ryan saves from the IRA assault are the Prince and Princess of Wales.

I was checking to see what he has written, and I found out there is not one of his books that I have read, nor have I seen any of the films  based on any of his books. But, I will say that at 66, that is too young, now days, to die. Let him R.I.P. Tom!
