Title: Old Star Wars documentary
Post by: Archivist on October 06, 2013, 03:26:36 AM
Many years ago, in the early 80's, or maybe even the very late 70's, I saw a Star Wars documentary on television.  Towards the end, the scenes show the vast array of merchandise available, people dancing in a disco (maybe), and the narrator said something about 'the whole world going Star Wars crazy'.  Does this sound familiar to anyone?

If you can point to this on YouTube, you will be my hero.  I'd love to see it again, if only to see it through adult eyes as well as get back a little of that wide-eyed child-time.  No rush, though.  Whenever you can find it, that's fine.

I finally found it!  Some glorious individual uploaded it to YouTube recently.  It is 'The Making of Star Wars' from 1977.  I'm shivering with the delight of seeing something I only saw once as a child.
