Title: Looking for late 70's/early 80's movie about a woman and a creature baby
Post by: T4Tanner on October 16, 2013, 11:18:48 PM
I saw this movie on cable (likely HBO) at a neighbor's house, I think around 1983 at the very latest, so it had to be from the early 80's/late 70's.  I really only recall one scene but from what I gathered scientists in a lab are dealing with a creature baby.  I don't know if it's an alien or what it is, but it looks like a baby with long, straggly hair all over it.  And it's a puppet, really Chud looking.  There is a woman in the lab, whether she's a scientist or not I can't recall, but she grows very attached to the creature baby.  The main scene I remember is the baby is being experimented on with bolts of electricity around it and she is standing at the window pounding on it and crying as the baby it happens.

Very vague details and I wish I remembered more.  This movie terrified me as a kid, though I imagine it was rather tame, even in its day.

Just watched it... It's not it, unfortunately.  Never had a moment where they actually experimented on the baby.

Still looking...

We're going into the 90's, but try "The Unborn" or "The Unborn 2"
