Title: Teen Girl Thinks Cousin Is A Witch
Post by: DeepBlueNothing on January 02, 2014, 10:19:36 PM
It was a movie that either came out either in the 70s or early, early 80s. I saw only the last half of it. The teen girl tries to convince her parents that the other girl (cousin maybe) is a witch and is responsible for a lot of bad stuff happening to her, such as her suddenly breaking out in hives while with friends. They of course don't believe her.

She later finds a photograph of herself in the girl's room amongst her stuff which has dots on her image, and is her proof the girl is an evil witch. I believe she meets up with someone (some man) in town, who has knowledge about witches and tells her how fight back against the witch. And she ends up doing something to destroy the teen witch in the end. During the commercial break and after,it would show a camera view point of a car as if were swerving side to side possible about to crash. This might be the beginning part of the film. This also is either a made for TV movie or a theatrical released movie.

Possibly Wes Craven's made-for-TV STRANGER IN OUR HOUSE ('78): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078330/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078330/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1)

It's also known as SUMMER OF FEAR. From the IMDB summary: "A country family of five takes in cousin Julia, whose parents recently perished in a car crash. Julia extends her influence over the family and those around them, fooling all except for Rachel, the teenaged girl who knows her cousin is up to no good."
