Cops are currently at Justin Bieber’s Los Angeles home with a search warrant to raid the house for evidence in connection with a recent egg attack on his next door neighbor, reports TMZ.
Bieber allegedly launched an egg assault on his neighbor’s home on Jan. 9, causing an estimated $20k in damage.
TMZ reports eleven L.A. County Sheriff’s department patrol cars were in front of Bieber’s house with a felony search warrant to enter the home. The warrant means the cops are looking for anything connecting Bieber to the crime, d including video of the crime and any additional eggs in the “Believe” singer’s refrigerator.
A source close to Justin told us, “This is a search warrant, not an arrest warrant, over an egg.
“The police are searching his house for anything they can find, including similar eggs.
“How an egg could cause that level of damage is incomprehensible.
“Justin’s camp believe he is being unfairly targeted by the police.”
He is currently being held in his garage and police are expected to hold a press conference at 11am PT.
Cops can also seize other illegal goods during the search, such as drugs.
TMZ reports that cops are on the scene with a “battering ram,” and have detained Bieber in his garage while they search the scene.
