Title: Cast a Deadly Spell (1991) Post by: Kooshmeister on January 28, 2014, 11:23:01 AM Did a quick search and couldn't find a thread dedicated to this film. Saw it on HBO as a kid and it actually scared me. The gargoyle did, anyway. I couldn't sit through the ending, anyway. Rewatching it these last couple of years, though, has made me love it a lot and wish it were more well-known and respected.

Enjoyed it quite a bit, especially some of the things that make it all fit together, like the girl hunting the unicorn. There's also the great scene with the "death by papercuts."

The books, though, not the TV series. I also quite enjoyed it's sequel, Witch Hunt, even if it lost Fred Ward.
