Title: 10 year old steals parents car, says he's a dwarf who forgot his license
Post by: sprite75 on February 15, 2014, 12:57:10 PM
From Norway (http://www.torontosun.com/2014/02/14/boy-10-steals-car-pretends-to-be-a-dwarf);

Quote
A 10-year-old Norwegian boy stole his parents' car, got caught and pretended to be a dwarf who'd forgotten his driver's licence.

The boy, who lives 110 km outside Oslo, nabbed the car, loaded his 18-month-old sister into it, and set off for his grandparents' house 60 km away, the Independent reports.

But 10 km in, he veered off the road into a ditch. He and his sister were unharmed. A snowplow driver saw him and alerted police.

"The boy told the snowplow driver that he was a dwarf and that he had forgotten his driver's licence at home," Baard Christiansen, a spokesman for the Vest Oppland police district, told the paper.

Does that excuse work?  If so I'm going to say I'm a dwarf suffering from gigantism.

Only in Norway, but the better excuse is to claim to be a troll who is looking for the 3 Billy Goats Gruff.
