Post by: Ash on February 19, 2014, 04:49:17 PM
What would be the absolute WORST movie house to live in?
My vote goes to the Fight Club house.  What a s**thole!

Oak Mansion from  "House by the Cemetery" 1981

two bad things to look out for,
1. creepy doctor in basement who kills
2. blonde annoying kid who lives in the house

THE HOUSE THAT DRIPPED BLOOD. I mean, what do you tell the plumber? "My house is dripping blood, would you please check for human hearts trapped in the pipes?"

The Dorm That Dripped Blood

One of the most unappealing, ugliest, uncomfortable looking dormitories seen in a slasher film. Huge building with bleak, grungy rooms and bulk trash interior furnishing.

Runner up: the house / villa in The House on Tombstone Hill (a.k.a. Dead Dudes in the House). Though its kinda cool in an abandoned building sort of way.

Sorry, not a house but I couldn't help but mention the hospital in HALLOWEEN II (1981).  Poorly lit, no security and almost no staff at all!

How about the house from DEAD ALIVE? Also THE HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY, THE LAST HOUSE ON DEAD END STREET, and the house from PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS.

The Belasco House
"The Legend of Hell House"
A dozen people tried. And most of 'em died . . . or went mad.

Dr. Moreau's house
"The Island of Doctor Moreau"
Or, as the Beastmen call it "The House of Pain"

The House of Wax
"House of Wax"
It's going to be hot time in the old home tonite.

Lady Sylvia's Temple House
"Lair of the White Worm"
Once you enter. You never leave. Especially, if you are a virginal boy scout.

The Telephone Booth
"Adventures in Babysitting"
Superman has nil on who lives here now.
