Title: WOTON'S WAKE (1962)
Post by: The Burgomaster on March 16, 2014, 07:51:44 AM
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to watch this early short film from Brian DePalma.  It's on the WEIRD WORLD OF WEIRD, VOL. 2 compilation disc from Something Weird Video.  The film doesn't make much sense, but it's still an interesting, creepy, nightmarish film.  It looks like a cross between an old silent horror movie and Eraserhead, with maybe a little Fellini and Bergman thrown in.  I watched it in the afternoon, but I think it would add to the creepiness if you watch it late at night.  You can see at least part of it on Youtube.  I have also posted some images below.
