Or maybe Piranha vs. Killer Bunny. Who will survive this battle of nasty, big, pointy teeth?

Or maybe even OctoSharkRanha vs. CrocoPython Rex: Orgy of the Ridiculous Combination Creatures.

Look for the sequel:  Megavolcano vs. Superplane.

Why jump the shark when you can fly over it?  :bouncegiggle:

Poor Dean Cain, still stuck slumming for the Asylum.

So who you rootin' for... the airplane, or the volcano?  :teddyr:

In other "Versus" news, Asylum's got this one slated for release next week:

What puzzles me is the tag line "The Classic Sci-Fi Thriller Returns!" ... ummm, returns from where, exactly?

Dean Cain, Robert Davi...all forgotten stars can get work at the Asylum!

Wait, wait...'The sky is falling...so Earth must move."
Hello, Toho- can we borrow your giant walrus?

Oh. My. God.

I can can deal with the concept. I can even deal with Dean Cain. But Robin Givens? Unless she dies to save the airplane, I refuse to watch this movie.

That looks like fun!

Reminds me of that 70s movie "When Time Ran Out"

Kind of wish they'd save the "VS" titles for the monster battles.  Even the strongest plane isn't going to survive a volcanic eruption.  Give it an equally silly title, like Lava in the Sky or Magmasphere.

I do like the tagline for Earth vs Asteroid> "Heaven is falling, Earth must Move".  Is somebody going to get out and push.

As for the poor C-list celebrities in these movies, Tia Carrere is the one I noticed.  Dean Cain was always going to be a small tv star, but I think people expected Tia's star to gain some extra height.  She was in the hit Wayne's World movies, then a few smaller movie roles.  Finally ending up on Relic Hunter where she played a Lara Croft inspired college professor.  One of those stars that was close to success, but never found that right break out role.

No.

This has gone beyond satire now.

Satire points at these movies and laughs.
