Anyway I love the first movie and I would also love to see something as entertaining again, but from experience I can say that doing a sequel after decades usually doesn't work that well. I will give that one the benefit of the doubt though.

I've read concept ideas for the Goonies 2 on http://thegoonies.org/ (http://thegoonies.org/) for more then 7 years now... some really great ideas, guys. Some almost perfect. It's just not something I have any interest in seeing. I know the original has it fans, but when I saw it on TV, I thought it was one of the worst things I ever sat all the way thru.
Actor Robert Davi has said he is going to be in it, which means a big pay check for him and for others who are in it or making it, which is most always to the good. As for the "Lost Boys . . ." They waited to long to do sequels, and they did the wrong sequels. "Lost Boys" should have been followed by "Lost Girls," with girls instead of boys as the vampires. |
