Title: Welcome To Spring Break (1989)

Hilarious cheese fest of a slasher movie (in fact there's not much - if any - slashing, most of the kills are death by electrocution which ties into the main storyline), but this is a badmovie classic to check if you like the Aerobicide/Chopping Mall type of corny 80s music and acting at its best (or worst), completely random and crazy characters who serve no purpose to the storyline just popping up and disappearing again - oh yeah and plenty of booty-shakin bikini dancing on the beach to corny hard rock tracks...

It says 1989 but the whole thing looks more like 1986 IMO (maybe it's just me but pretty much every year of the 80s seems to have its own 'feel' in movies, and this one doesn't feel like a 1989 movie, lol...maybe it was put on hold before release?  - but I could be wrong)

Recommended for a good laugh. 8/10

Also known as Nightmare Beach!

NIGHTMARE BEACH (1988) Trailer for Umberto Lenzi's spring break slasher (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmjfftBIJnk#ws)

I haven't seen it, but it looks fantastic.

For similar hilarity I recommend checking out Hitcher in the Dark (1989). I believe they use the same RV seen in Troll 2 and Welcome to Spring Break, though my mind's a bit hazy on WTSP because its been a while since I've seen it.

I can't recall any of it taking place on the beach, so not the most appropriate title

edit - oh yeah the "t+a" sections do

will do, it's another Umberto Lenzi's movie. Just watched the trailer and I think I've possibly seen it before, but would've been years ago if so...

definitely worth it IMO...

saw someone on imdb describe it as a "feel-good slasher"
