Quote John P. Marty, 48, faces the serious misdemeanor charge after his arrest Saturday. According to a criminal complaint, Dubuque police responded at 1:17 p.m. Saturday to Pickle Barrel, 2418 Central Ave., for a report of a man touching himself inappropriately. The complaint said witnesses told officers that Marty entered the store to get something to eat and sat at a table. An employee said she saw Marty watching a pornographic video on his cellphone when he started touching himself inappropriately. Officers reported that Marty admitted watching pornography on his phone but that he denied doing anything else inappropriate.
