I was in high school during Cannon's mid 80s glory years and if you were in the video store looking for cheap thrills, you usually couldn't go wrong with anything that had a Cannon logo on it.
Coincidentally, my sons and I had just finished watching Cannon's silly-but-fun "Indiana Jones" knock-off, "King Solomon's Mines" with Richard Chamberlain on the night I heard the news about Mr. Golan. I saw a couple of the "Missing in Action" and "Death Wish" sequels in theaters back in the day as well. To this day, whenever I see the Cannon logo at the start of a movie, I get a warm fuzzy nostalgic feeling. Thanks for the B-Movie memories, sir.
