I really enjoy Heinlan-even though he is a militaristic sex maniac.. :twirl: Of course HP Lovecraft was very racist. Didnt like asians at all-had an unnatural fear of them-which is reflected in his stories. Seems to me Lazarus Long could be right up there with John Carter as a central character for a series of movies. Not so sure about Valentine Michael Smith... ;) Likely we'll never find out.

Interesting take on the politics of the day in the CBC adaptation of THE KRAKEN WAKES. Fit the year it was made. have to check out the book again to compare notes. |
