Title: MOM'S NIGHT OUT (2014)
Post by: indianasmith on October 03, 2014, 11:34:23 PM
I generally watch low-budget horror, sci-fi, or action/adventure flicks with a rather high quotient of violence and cheese.
But, since my wife is heading out of town for a few days tomorrow, I thought I might get something we would both enjoy.
MOM'S NIGHT OUT is a delightfully funny, clean, slapstick comedy about an overworked, overstressed Mom who leaves the
kids with her husband for one night while she, her best friend, and her pastor's wife go out on the town.
But one thing leads to another, and they wind up taking a cab across town to rescue her sister-in-law's baby from a tattoo
parlor, while her husband and son are in the ER getting checked for concussions and her pastor's wife confronts the shocking
past about Woodstock - and a tattoo!  Filled with delightfully silly and improbable scenarios, this is a truly delightful film that you
can share with your wife and kids, with a surprisingly touching finale.  Just good clean fun all around, with a positive
Christian message at the end.

Highly recommended!
