Title: 90s Sci-fi Comedy Post by: eidolon203 on October 25, 2014, 03:17:57 PM I've been trying to recall a film I saw a few years ago. I saw it at like, 3am on some channel like Starz. My memory of it is vague but, it seems like a 90s era film. It was a dark comedy, science fiction film about a city that I believe was on a space station. It had a cluttered, claustrophobic aesthetic and I remember sort of slimy, gross out effects. The wardrobes were weird and over the top and there were lots of strange machines with bright color schemes. I seem to remember it was about a specific family living on the space station and the dad was maybe a sanitation worker. I think he ejected garbage into space all day. The only movies I can recall that share any similar aesthetic or mood would be Delicatessen or Tank Girl.
