Okay so I'm not sure i would classify the movie as thriller or horror (serial killer), but I remember watching the movie some time back on Netdlix, and I really liked it.

It was about this boy who I guess had a childhood friend, a girl. She ended up in an institution but I forget why, something to do with her maybe being crazy. He falls in love with her and ends up hatching a scheme to get her out and takes her back to his apartment.

There, he keeps her while the police look for her. She is awake now at his place but I guess she is mute? She also does strange things and I feel like I remember her killing someone in some weird way.

There is a strange killer she has some sort of connection with who was in the same institution. He breaks out and kills a bunch of cops and finds the girl. The boy confronts the killer whom gets the best of him but the mute girl overcomes him. I do remember she was dressed in maybe an angel outfit or something.

I feel like the ending is the clincher. The boy almost died during the confrontation and to keep him alive they have him in a water chamber, with the mute girl. They are not naked in this chamber, as symbolism of their lev they found.

I watched the movie twice a long time ago and want to watch it again but I can't think of any actors in it, or the title. Any help would make my day. :-)
