The Earth Dies Screaming (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4JzMI01Tuc#) A typical low-budget 1960's English sci-fi flick; I enjoyed it on its own merits, plus the nostalgia factor- my Saturday afternoons were filled with films like this, ISLAND OF TERROR, THE PROJECTED MAN, FANTASTIC VOYAGE and such at such long-gone movie houses as the Tivoli and the Ohio.
