Title: Top 10 Horror TV Movies/Mini-Series of the 1990s
Post by: JaseSF on January 16, 2015, 04:59:42 PM
So I'm finishing this off with the 1990s as I haven't seen anything I'd actually consider good from after the 1990s in terms of horror TV movies or mini-series....others may feel differently. Actually I've seen a few more from the 1990s than I did the 1980s but I definitely lean towards the sci-fi element. What have you seen and you felt was worth listing here?

1. Intruders (1992)
2. Ghostwatch (1992)
3. Alien Nation: Dark Horizon (1994)
4. Sometimes They Come Back (1991)
5. Tower of Terror (1997)
6. Trapped in Space (1995)
7. Alien Nation: Millennium (1996)
8. Official Denial (1994)
9. Within the Rock (1996)
10. The Tower (1993)

Ghostwatch and Sometimes They Come Back are the only two I've seen there: another I could add is The Stand.

Sphere (1998)  - suspenseful big budget sci-fi with a bit of horror
Hideous! (1997) - cheesy Full Moon fun
There's Nothing Out There (1991) - low budget cheese but I enjoyed it
Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996) - I just love this cheesy nonsense  :teddyr:
Proteus (1995) - solid Alien ripoff type movie
Dinosaur Island (1994) - pure cheese;  another favorite of mine.

Is that the film where Doug Bradley nearly gets his guts sucked out at the end?

I can't even remember what happens to his character lol.  Just that the babes were hot and the plot was cheesy but suspenseful  :teddyr:

No mention of all those high quality, brilliantly acted, incredible special effect showcases known as the Stephen King mini series?
