Title: The Limey (1999) Post by: Trevor on February 16, 2015, 02:06:27 AM I'm not a big Steven Soderbergh fan but this film, starring Terence Stamp as a revengeful (but urbane) Cockney gangster who comes to the USA to find out what happened to his daughter is pretty good. Peter Fonda as the scuzzy album producer is very good and I almost didn't recognize Barry (Petrocelli) Newman as the producer's gunman.

I thought it was decent, but not great. I watched the DVD only one time, so maybe I need to dig it out and watch it again.

In the IMDB they attack Terence Stamp saying his accent is the wrong one for the role, but I thought he was perfect. Perks of watching dubbed films, I guess. It's the only one I've found in 38 years.
