And in the 1977 TV movie "Count Dracula," he gave one of the best performances of Count Dracula ever seen on film. (IMHO) RIP Louis. I remember him mainly as "Arcane" in the "Swamp Thing" flicks, and also from the James Bond film "Octopu$$y." I must've seen "Swamp Thing" about a dozen times when it first hit HBO in 1983 or so. My Dad, who must've remembered Mr. Jourdan from some higher-quality fare like "Gigi," walked in while I was watching it one day and asked "Is that Louis Jourdan? What the hell's he doing in this piece of sh*t?" :bouncegiggle: |
