Anyhow, I agree that this is how it should be. CGI to improve practical effects, not to replace them. It is a blatantly stupid, one-joke movie that saves itself by having the actors play it straight rather than for laughs. The characters are, for the most part, morons, but that is to be expected in a movie about zombie beavers that can barely move--how else could the rodent puppet monsters catch their prey? And what happens to those people who fall victim to the flat-tailed menace--oh my goodness....

The movie was way too confused about what it was trying to do and would sometimes have fun with it and then take itself seriously in others. Just another series of missed opportunities.

Whoever thought of this has a great mind. And I didn't see much CGI, which was also great. I believe this is another one of SyFy's great pieces of bad movie art?
