Title: Old posters you miss Post by: RCMerchant on March 14, 2015, 01:09:47 AM I dont mean movie postors-I mean folks who were here and not no more-I miss Sister Grace,Menard,Cheezeflix,Ash(the cat!) I really miss Ash,Dogget-he did show up for a minute-Paquita-I miss her-I see her-but not enough! so many others but Im too drunk too list them all-what-why? do members just say no? The guy-I cant even rember his name now-f**k! He usta put his bigfoot hunt online-help me here-I loved him-Steve-my health is not so good-I been missing work because my ability to walk is getting really bad-I fake it-but I dont think I can get away with it too long-when I fall aslleep on the job 3 times out of the day-thats not good.

He came back sporadically after that, but just kind of drifted away. Susan was another person who was here all the time and then vanished. Something happened with her, an online stalker or something, and she reduced her online presence significantly. Trekgeezer hasn't been here or on Facebook in a while. I know he's ill and wonder how he's doing.
Then there's odinn7 and ghouk, and Cheezflix and Circus and flickjames and a whole bunch of others (man I've hung out here a long time) that just kind of disappeared. FlickJames was a good guy, and Cheezeflix has been gone so long I barely remember what he was like. I guess Andy C is out being a truck driver? I wish Paquita would post more too, though she does stop by once in a while.

A lot have kinda gone missing. :buggedout: I had a close online friend for seven years, and one day he "quit" the internet, more or less. He was unhappy with his job situation and had health issues and family problems. He was looking for new directions in his life, and part of that new direction was abandoning the internet. Another close friend of many years (we never met personally but talked on the phone and exchanged movie gifts) suddenly burned bridges with everyone from our circle of online friends with no reason given. We first thought her computer was hacked or something. We found out later that she had terminated accounts and started new accounts using a different name. We thought that was odd behavior, and did a little research. We found old blogs she had deleted when we became friends, she kept it a secret from us that she was divorced and raising a daughter. People have their reasons to leave. We may not always understand why though.
